Daily Manna

Daily Heavenly Manna and Devotional Service

“Prove me nowhere with, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” – Malachi 3: 10.

For over a century Christians have received rich blessings through use of the Daily Heavenly Manna and Devotional Service, which contains a Scripture text, uplifting and informative comments, parallel Scripture passages and a poem for every day of the year. Pastor C.T. Russell (1852-1916) authored the first set of comments and Pastor Paul S.L. Johnson (1873-1950) wrote the second set of comments. Many Christians have referred to the Daily Manna as their “Heavenly Breakfast Food.”

MEDITATION
I love to steal a while away From ev’ry cumbering care,
And use some time of early day In thought and fervent prayer.
I love to think on mercies past, And future good implore,
And all my cares and sorrows cast On Him whom I adore.
I love by faith to take a view Of brighter scenes beyond;
The prospect doth my strength renew, And hence my songs abound.
Soon shall earth’s days of toil be o’er, Its darkness passed away;
Its storms and trials but prepare, And lead to endless day.
